PROVISION OF IN-FIELD GEOMATICS SUPPORT FOR DREDGING OPERATIONS IN OKIORI WELLS 1 & 2 SLOT

Location: Bayelsa state, Nigeria
In-field geomatics and technical support has been undertaken for Energy Traders and Technical Services Limited at their existing wells 1 & 2 slots. This service was to facilitate successful and safe dredging within the well slots and access to the well slots.
The well slots fall within the Okiori field, a marginal field situated in Nembe Local Government Area of Bayelsa state, Nigeria.
The job scope was executed in three (3) major phases; general survey support, seabed bathymetry measurements, and data processing/analysis. The services rendered at these locations include:
- tide gauge establishment and observation,
- staking out of well slots and bund wall extents,
- probing of well slots for metals (e.g flowlines) using metal detector.
